Jacquelyn Murray

Jacque started her own care management company, Murray Care Management, after serving as a Care Manager for many years with other organizations. Jacque joined LivHOME as a Care Manager in March 2008.  She was previously a Care Manager with the Linkages Program for 9 years in North Santa Barbara County and South San Luis Obispo County and also as a Family Care Consultant with the Alzheimer’s’ Association, San Luis Obispo office, where she worked with and provided training for families and caregivers on how to care for their loved one with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Jacque also has an extensive background in working with seniors, the developmentally disabled and dependent adults.  Her goal has been and continues to be making their lives more manageable and living safe and secure in their own homes.

Jacque has lived on the Central Coast for over 15 years and is actively involved with various public and private social service agencies that provide services to adults. While with the Alzheimer’s Association she established 5 drop in centers in various parts of the county so that families needing help could come to a “local office” rather than drive to San Luis.  Jacque is an active member of the FAST committee and Adult Services Policy Council.

Prior to coming to the central coast Jacque and her husband owned and operated an outpatient substance abuse rehab program for teens and their families in Orange County. Jacque’s background also includes marketing, business administration and fund raising for non-profits.

Jacque has a BS in psychology and is a Care Manager Certified through the National Association of Professional Care Managers.
